Book Week is one of the highlights of the Coogee Prep calendar, bringing together boys from Kindergarten to Year 6 to celebrate books, storytelling and a love of reading.
The highlight of the day was our Book Week Parade, where the boys proudly showcased their costumes and brought their favourite book characters to life. The school was filled with an array of creative and imaginative outfits, with winning costumes from each year group receiving a Dymocks voucher in recognition of their efforts.
A big thank you to all our boys and families for their enthusiasm, support and creativity in designing and preparing costumes. We are also grateful to our staff, who enthusiastically join in the celebrations each year, adding to the excitement and enjoyment of the day.
Book Week is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the imagination, creativity and enjoyment that reading brings.
