Enrolment
A place is reserved as soon as we receive your application. Here is what happens, and in what order.
Every Boy Is Interviewed, Not Sorted
Coogee Prep has a non-selective admissions policy. Boys with a wide range of abilities and talents can enter the School at any grade where there is availability, and enrolments are accepted from families of all faiths.
The School is single stream, which means one class per year group from Kindergarten to Year Six. Places are limited by that structure rather than by an entrance examination.
The School's nurturing environment helps create a sense of belonging for each student and builds confidence from a very young age. Our senior students further develop these skills through their schooling, specifically in their preparation for entering the high school of their choice.
If your question is not answered here, ring the School Office on (02) 9398 6310. It is a small office and you will speak to someone who knows your son's year group.

Book a Tour02Application
Read the Conditions of Entry, then submit the Application for Enrolment form. Once an application form is received, a place is reserved for your son. The office will confirm any application fee that applies at the time you apply.

An offer of a place is made after an interview. Accepting a place means agreeing to the School's philosophy, ethos, discipline and behaviour policy, School rules and fee payment schedule, and signing the Conditions of Entry document as part of the enrolment and registration process.
04Registration
Upon acceptance of a position at Coogee Prep, payment of a non-refundable Registration and Administration Fee of $750 per child is required for all years, Kindergarten to Year Six.
