Community

A Small School, and It Shows

Being single stream means parents get to know many families, not just their son's year group.

Parents and Friends

The Parents and Friends at Coogee Prep is highly active, and contributes greatly to the sense of community spirit within the School.

Being a single-stream school, the opportunity exists for parents to get to know many families and to actively participate in their son's journey through Coogee Prep.

The multi-purpose hall built in the 2010 renovation is where most of it happens: assemblies, school concerts, Easter hat parades, and Mother's and Father's Day breakfasts.

Old Boys

Coogee Prep has been sending boys on to independent secondary schools across Sydney since 1914, and the School stays in touch with many of them.

A Hundred and Twelve Years of Them

Mr Nicholas Brown, the School's second Headmaster, was himself a former student. Old Boys remain part of the School's life and support its work.
